What's the
Problem?

As the founding designer of Relic, I was tasked with thinking of the core UX for the first version of Relic. The communication between fans and celebrities is currently disjointed due to trust, safety, and limited access. Relic aims to successfully connect fans to celebrities in a safe environment for things such as events, book releases, product launches, and more.

    Primary product goals for first launch
  • Provide a secure & safe space for controlled events with fans.
  • Allow fans to receive crypto artifiacts that can gain value over time.
  • Introduce an early on scaleable solution for the product.

The Solution

After chatting with multiple celebs that have voiced their concern with a more controlled environment with their fans, the ultimate solution was to provide a space for fans to receive a signature from their favorite celebs.






Key Learnings


What we would have done differently

Although the discovery process was great and we learned a lot about the mental model of celebrities.
As a early stage team we would have focused more on the following:

  • Completed more research on fans and their desires.
  • Narrowed down the needs of fans and what they expect from celebrities
  • Worked on event partnerships and how that would impact the overall ux for fans not celebrities.
